One product page that sells the subscription

The problem
Each flavour and pack size was a separate product with its own page and subscription setup. Shoppers had to move between pages to compare options, and reviews and search value were split across URLs.
What we delivered
  • Merged the catalogue into one product with flavour and pack variants
  • Built a custom Skio widget with ranked plans, per-pack pricing and tiered free gifts
  • Added variant-specific galleries managed through metafields
  • Made the widget and gallery work inside GemPages landing pages
Result
Launched on the UAE store, then rolled out to the US and UK stores. Prices, discounts and billing text come from Skio selling-plan data, so each region only needed its own settings.

Kratom CountryPlatform migration

Magento 2 to Shopify Advanced in two weeks

The problem
A high-volume store needed to leave Magento 2 on a fixed timeline without losing catalogue data, integrations or existing search visibility.
What we delivered
  • Catalogue, collection and merchandising structure rebuilt for Shopify
  • Shopify Advanced configuration for taxes, payments and admin
  • Reconnected integrations before launch, not after
  • URL mapping, redirects and a go-live checklist for SEO continuity

The problem
Shoppers wanted to see shirts, shorts and hats together, and Stack had exclusive kit pricing to offer. Pre-built bundles took the choice away from the customer.

  • Carousels that let customers swap each item and see the kit update
  • Single add to cart for the full kit at the bundle price

Who we are

The people behind Silver Ponies.

Silver Ponies Web Inc. is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by CEO Anup Saund, a software engineer and former VP of Engineering at a Shopify Plus brand. Anup also works with founders as a fractional CTO.

Our developers work remotely from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan. You work directly with the people writing the code, not through a chain of handoffs.

What buyers usually ask us first.

Do you improve existing stores or only build new ones?

Both. We regularly take over existing stores to add features, refactor inherited theme code or migrate them. The OWNKIND, Take Mighty and STACK Athletics projects were all built into live stores.

Do you work with Shopify and Shopify Plus?

Yes. We have built features, Skio integrations and custom apps on Shopify Plus and Shopify Advanced stores, including a build-a-box subscription page and Skio customer login for Kratom Country and Super Speciosa, and the migration of Kratom Country from Magento 2 to Shopify Advanced.

Can you build custom Skio subscription experiences?

Yes. We have replaced Skio's default widget with custom plan pickers for OWNKIND, Take Mighty and Braintree Nutrition. The custom interface sits on top of Skio, so Skio continues to manage the subscriptions and billing.

Can we hire you for one project?

Yes. Silver Ponies takes on defined projects with an agreed scope, such as a custom feature, an integration, a subscription experience, a migration or a rebuild.

Can you develop custom apps and connect business systems?

Usually, yes. We build custom apps with webhooks and the Shopify APIs, Shopify Functions and checkout extensions, and connect stores to subscription, fulfilment, ERP and loyalty tools. Tell us what you use and we will tell you what is possible.

Do you work with clients outside British Columbia and Canada?

Yes. Silver Ponies works remotely, so location does not limit who we work with. Clients we have worked with include brands in the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, Jersey and the UAE, and the OWNKIND project covered stores in the UAE, the US and the UK.
